Friday marks the 98th birthday of Clark Terry, jazz trumpeter extraordinaire and perhaps the most prolifically recorded musician ever. Clark was born in 1920 and died in 2015. He played with almost every titan of the jazz era between 1940 and 2015 including the giants of bebop: Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk etc. as well as the true Kings of Swing: Ellington and Basie.
